I LOVE Winter. Tyler loves it too. Well the playing in the snow part. Not so much the cold. But you've got to take the good with the bad. Especially since it's going to be this way for the next 4 months. There wouldn't be any snow if it wasn't so cold out. :) So again we've got to be an optimist instead of a pessimist and make the best of this chilly time of year!
What Winter means to me:
- Snow
- Sweaters, coats, boots, scarves, gloves...layers, layers, layers
- Sitting by the fireplace
- Cuddling with the ones you love
- Naked trees
- Gorgeous snow birds (Cardinals and Woodpeckers)
- Flowers asleep underground waiting for their grand entrance in the Spring
- Rosy red cheeks
- Icicles
- Slipping on the ice in parking lots or your own driveway causing you to fall on your butt and look like a fool (let me assure you, this has happened many times.)
- Snow men
- Snow Angels
- Pure white blanket over everything
- Winter Festivals
- A reason to be a kid again
- Sledding
- Dressing our dogs in cute sweaters
- Ice skating
- Runny noses
- Just another reason to whip out my camera
- Christmas
- New Years
- Baking
- Parties
My list can go on and on and on.
What Winter means to Tyler:
- Snow
- Snowmen
- Throwing snowballs at Mommy
- Snow Angels
- Sledding
- Christmas
- Santa
- Catching snow flakes on his tongue
- Eating snow (as long as it's not yellow)
- Hot chocolate
- Cuddling in Mommy's bed watching movies
- Not wanting to stay inside even though it's freezing outside.
- Sucking on nature's popsicles (icicles)
